Waking up in this beautiful place was just perfect. It's Dennis' birthday today so a trip into town to celebrate over dinner is planned.
We enjoyed breakfast while viewing the majestic mountains that surround us. So peaceful. It is reminding us of our camping in the Grampians (however - much larger and a lot drier!)
We went for a walk to a waterfall and enjoyed watching the kids climb over the rocks like mountain goats. Moving on to a lovely picnic area by a stream to have a packed lunch (the only thing missing was a thermos - Ruth would be proud of us).
An afternoon spent horse riding along very narrow steep trails capped off a fantastic day. The views we saw were spectacular. Hopefully we won't be too sore tomorrow!!!
