Hiking in the Mountains
Today was a very active day. We started early and went hiking around Bear Lake. A beautiful walk which reminded us very much of where we hiked in Tasmania. After walking the lake we moved on to a longer hike up to Alberta Falls. The views were again spectacular and it was on the rocks, by the falls, that we ate our picnic lunch (together with the friendly chipmunk). We were even lucky enough to see an elk up very close. This doesn't happen very often.
After a brief rest back at our cabin, for a cuppa, we headed into Estes Park to play mini-golf. It was a great time together.
Evenings have been spent playing card games and other kinds of games. Watch out Beachport campers, we have a new game for us all to play - catchphrase!
